Kenneth R. Mauer, M.D., graduated from New York University School of Medicine in 1983. He completed his residency in internal medicine, Chief Resident, at Albert Einstein College Hospital and his fellowship in gastroenterology at Mt. Sinai Medical Center.

He is on faculty at Columbia University, New York Medical College and Mt. Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Mauer is the Director of the GI Endoscopy Unit at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

Dr. Mauer is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, a Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology, a member of the American Gastroenterological Association and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, a member of the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America and is on the Medical Advisory Committee of Westchester and Fairfield County.

Strick J. Woods, M.D., graduated from Bowman Gray School of Medicine at Wake Forest University, Winston-Salem, North Carolina in 1985. He completed his residency in internal medicine at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport, Connecticut. His fellowship in gastroenterology was completed at Yale University Medical School and New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York. He is on faculty at New York Medical College and is on active medical staff at St. Vincent's Medical Center.

Dr. Woods is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American College of Physicians and other local and national medical societies.

Julie E. Spivack, M.D., graduated Magna Cum Laude from Yale University in 1986, and Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1990 where she was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha.
She completed her internal medicine residency and first year of gastroenterology fellowship at Harvard's Beth Israel Hospital in Massachusetts. She completed her gastroenterology fellowship at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center and elected to do an advanced hepatobiliary fellowship at Memorial-Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

Dr. Spivack is board-certified in gastroenterology. Her interests include hepatology, invasive endoscopy and general gastroenterology. Dr. Spivack sees patients in the Fairfield office.

Dr. Cobrin recently completed her training at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York where she was Chief Fellow in Gastroenterology. Prior to that she was Chief Resident in Medicine at New York University Medical Center. Dr. Cobrin's MD degree is also from New York University School of Medicine. She is Board Certified in Internal Medicine.

Dr. Cobrin completed her undergraduate work at Princeton University and was awarded an AB degree, magna cum laude, in Economics.

Dr. Cobrin will see patients in both Fairfield and Bridgeport and is on staff at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport.
