    Kenneth R. Mauer, M.D., graduated from New York University School of Medicine in 1983. He completed his residency in internal medicine, Chief Resident, at Albert Einstein College Hospital and his fellowship in gastroenterology at Mt. Sinai Medical Center.

    He is on faculty at Columbia University, New York Medical College and Mt. Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Mauer is the Director of the GI Endoscopy Unit at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

    Dr. Mauer is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, a Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology, a member of the American Gastroenterological Association and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, a member of the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America and is on the Medical Advisory Committee of Westchester and Fairfield County.

    Julie E. Spivack, M.D., graduated Magna Cum Laude from Yale University in 1986, and Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1990 where she was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha.
    She completed her internal medicine residency and first year of gastroenterology fellowship at Harvard's Beth Israel Hospital in Massachusetts. She completed her gastroenterology fellowship at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center and elected to do an advanced hepatobiliary fellowship at Memorial-Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

    Dr. Spivack is board-certified in gastroenterology. Her interests include hepatology, invasive endoscopy and general gastroenterology. Dr. Spivack sees patients in the Fairfield office.
